My name is Isieoma but most people call me Isie. I am a sister, a friend, a daughter, and a lover of music. I received my undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Correction, from the University of Minnesota Crookston in 2019. I am pursuing my MA in Marriage & Family Therapy from the University of Saint Mary’s of Minnesota and joined Relationships, llc to complete my 12 month clinical internship. I have a passion for supporting those who have experienced trauma, grief/loss, depression/anxiety, women's/men's issues, racial/biracial identity issues, and relational conflict.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my friends, EATING, relaxing with some music, and going for long walks by the lakes/rivers (warm weather permitting, of course).
I look forward to holding space with you.
I’m passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate their unique journeys of healing and self-discovery. As a therapist, I believe that each person already holds within them the strength and wisdom needed to heal, and my role is to help guide you toward that inner power.
I work from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework and incorporate Brainspotting to help clients process and manage symptoms stemming from stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma. My goal is not to position myself as an expert in your life, but to partner with you as you reclaim control and begin to make meaningful, positive changes.
I also believe in the importance of education. I strive to provide each client with an understanding of what’s happening in their brain and body when they experience emotional distress, so they can feel more empowered and equipped to manage their challenges.
My hope, as your therapist, is that you’ll find a space that is free of judgment, where you can be your authentic self, explore your emotions, and develop new tools for well-being. Together, we’ll work towards uncovering your strengths and helping you create a life rooted in resilience, peace, and clarity.
