Supervised (Therapeutic) Visitation 

Supervised Visits are designed to assure that a child can have safe contact with an absent parent without having to be put in the middle of the parents’ conflicts or other problems. It is the child’s need that is paramount in making any decisions regarding supervision of the visit (Supervised Visitation Network).

Therapeutic Supervision is a conjoint parent-child therapy conducted by a licensed psychotherapist (in some cases a psychotherapy intern) who is trained in mental health.

Supervised Visitation is arranged by calling our office at 612-824-3369 and requesting the service specifically.

Relationships, llc also provides supervised visitation without the therapeutic component. Our goal is to make sure our office and services best meet the needs of your family. However, insurance companies do not pay for supervised visitation services. The rate is $250.00 per hour.  This service generally is 1.5 hour of service. Insurance companies generally pay for psychological services. Relationships, llc does NOT offer a sliding fee. All services are required to be paid in full at the time of service.  Relationships, llc services may be paid for by credit card or cash.

A $50 dollar fee is charged for intake appointments, not billable to insurance. An intake appointment must be completed by the custodial and visiting parent before visitation begins. Details regarding the visitation rules and expectations, times, confidentiality and releases of information will be shared in your intake appointment. 

Times are based on availability.  Please have several options available when you call.  Also be prepared to share details regarding the circumstances of the supervised visitation request.

Relationships, llc requests copies of court orders pertaining to reunification therapy/visitation and/or decision letters made by parent consultants, parent expeditors, or any other decision-making party.
